Version 3 Development Begins — January 1, 2007

Originally a milestone for 2008, the new major release 3.0 of QuadCommerce has been moved up for an anticipated 2007 launch.

The new software release timeline is due mainly to a growing client base and more requests for new features. Quadsimia felt the best way to meet our client needs was to incoroporate it in to the new version 3.x code baseline and accelerate the development cycle.

The version 2.x series will still be supported and an upgrade will be possible for clients who would like to move their stores up to the new version 3 when it is released.

Status updates on QuadCommerce Version 3.0 will be available here on our website.

Ecommerce Pricing - New Model — June 23, 2006

Effective next month, QuadCommerce has updated its ecommerce store pricing model.

The key change to the pricing was to structure our prices to better reflect the success of our clients. Quadsimia has always viewed each client of ours as a partner in the ecommerce endeavor. So the model linking between us and them was a logical one.

Quadsimia has established a model wbere costs are lower for stores just getting up to speend and building their online customer base.

The new model does away with the pricing based on catalog size. In fact, clients are encouraged to offer as many products as they'd like online.

The new packages & pricing can be found under the Pricing section of our website.

QC Enrolls in UPS Program — May 31, 2006

QuadCommerce has signed up to become enrolled in the UPS Ready Program. This program from United Parcel Service (UPS) provides a suite of ecommerce tools to improve customer service, reduce costs, and energize the online purchasing experience.

After QuadCommerce has completed its integration of UPS technologies, the software must be tested by an independent third-party to certify its compliance with UPS guidelines and specifications.

Once the testing is completed successfully, QuadCommerce will be certified "UPS Ready".
