QuadCommerce had updated its product pricing and support plans.
The ecommerce software is now available as part of:
- Managed Solution Plans - these plans take the headache of maintaining your own hardware and software out of the equation. Quadsimia manages the stuff behind the scenes, so you can focus on managing your online store. Managed Solutions are a recurring charge. Discounts are available.
- Client hosted Plan - our newest plans that allow you to run ecommerce off of your own servers. There is a one-time licensing fee for the software. Support is still available as an option if you host your own ecommerce.
Plan Details and Ecommerce Software Pricing are updated here.
The Support offerings have also been updated. Click here to view support pricing and information.

Today the QuadCommerce Team has launched a new support web site for its ecommerce documentation.

Version 3 Development Begins — January 1, 2007

Originally a milestone for 2008, the new major release 3.0 of QuadCommerce has been moved up for an anticipated 2007 launch.
The new software release timeline is due mainly to a growing client base and more requests for new features. Quadsimia felt the best way to meet our client needs was to incoroporate it in to the new version 3.x code baseline and accelerate the development cycle.
The version 2.x series will still be supported and an upgrade will be possible for clients who would like to move their stores up to the new version 3 when it is released.
Status updates on QuadCommerce Version 3.0 will be available here on our website.

PayPal Interfaces with QC — August 1, 2006

The new release of QuadCommerce v2.5 is now capable of interfacing with the PayPal online payment solution. This means ShopKeepers with Paypal can now process payments with Paypal in two different ways. PayPal Express allows customers to simply click on a PayPal button during checkout of a QuadCommerce store and use their own PayPal account for providing payment. PayPal Direct allows store owners to give customers the option of using their PayPal accounts for payments or taking credit cards and using the store's PayPal account to process payment of the order. "Over the past twelve months, PayPal was definitely the #1 requested feature that our clients wete telling our ecommerce development team they would like to see in QuadCommerce. We are very happy to incorporate this feature into our ecommerce software." PayPal now joins Authorize.NET, Verisign PayFlow Pro, and LinkPoint as merchant gateways that a ShopKeeper can use to process payments of orders. PayPal has quickly become a global leader in online payment solutions with 100 million account members worldwide. Available in 55 countries and regions around the world, buyers and sellers on eBay, online retailers, online businesses, as well as traditional offline businesses are transacting with PayPal.
